My happy time

All the time!  Every day is a gift and as soon as we can understand and feel that and live by this idea, it gets much easier and happier.  Yesterday morning I was driving. Wanted to go back home. Got the car windows down and had some nice songs on. It was already at least 26 degrees outside and I had my left arm out through the open window. Felt the wind play with my fingers and go through my hair. Saw the sun shining bright in the sky above me. Felt the fresh air outside. Sang along to the radio at the top of my voice.  Then, after one traffic light got onto the boulevard leading to my place. 2 more traffic lights and I would be home. What I saw after passing the bridge - large space to the right. It was with the greenest grass and huge trees with small benches beneath them. Imagine the shadows and how comfy it is to sit and observe  near one of the biggest boulevards under the shadow of old trees and enjoying the beautiful day. Then the flowers - all colours meltin...

What to do in Belgrade, Serbia

First of all- definitely dedicate some spare time just to randomly walk around the city and feel the local athmosphere. Yes, I'm a person who always has a plan and who always wants to see all remarkable andpopular tourist   places just because I know I may never return and want to make sure I don't miss anything while I have the opportunity to see it or live it!  But at the same time - the sightseeings can be seen on the Internet as well as in all the popular and heavy books for tourists, the information which the guide may share, can be read in the written guides and travel advices, but it's the unique feeling and atmosphere which can't be found and read about - it has to be felt and we need to live it if we want to remember it!  What I will remember most from Belgrad is Skardalija - the party street with the pavements and amazing atmosphere - I didn't feel like a guest there because it's so cozy.... I will also remember their rakia - can be found e...

My New Project: Happy Impact

I recently realized I'm not as happy as I used to be and I need a dedicated Happiness project! There are many reasons, but some of them are that I can no longer travel as much as I wanted to and I'm not sure about the reason. Maybe I'm missing the right people but the truth is that I've stopped doing it a long time ago. I realized a couple of things about myself recently: one of them is that I'm no longer happy with the "passions" I have and I feel like they're fake and don't show the real me to myself. It's like I'm living someone else's life, someone older and much more boring. And I'm not boring. Never been.  So, to start afresh a wild year full of happiness, here is my plan: every day I'm going to do at least one thing to make me happy and have an impact. These are my two conditions. And eating ice-cream or chocolate for example doesn't count! It's something I will forget about in a couple of seconds while what ...

Kamen Donev - The ruler of the Theater!

I had the great pleasure to attend Kamen Donev's performance called "Za Svatbite" (Weddings)! It was amazingly fun, fresh and full of national folklore. Had a great time during the national dances and songs which brought a unique feeling of tradition in one of the newest sports halls in Bulgaria.  He again proved to be a spectacular performer who can easily enchant the audience and create the opportunity for everyone to find something heart-melting! One of the best things about the unique experience - a couple from the audience was welcomed on stage!  The performance was split into different chapters and went on about how the weddings used to be arranged, how the couple would meet, how the families would negotiate the wedding and then the culmination was of course the wedding itself and all events that would happen around it. To tell the story of the typical wedding, he would tell the small story of each event from day one till the day of the wedding itself. One ...

More of the WINE Tastings, please!

I do love wine -it's amazing, there are so many different types, it can be enjoyed both with a book and cheese as well as with large groups of friends and many meats delights! It can be chilled or consumed at room temperature, you can have it with or without any add-ons like Sprite/ Ice/ Water.... It's the perfect drink!  Bulgaria is one of the first great wine producers, however is not as famous as France and Italy for example. There are many typically Bulgarian styles which can only be found in specific parts of the country. Everyone who knows more about wine can confirm that the geography is one of the most important components and has a huge impact so the best thing to do at the DiVino Wine Tasting was to try typical Bulgarian Wines. Of course, many exhibitors try different varieties, including amazing combinations, but it's always great to go for the traditional wine to make sure you know what's typical. Many of the exhibitors could offer types which are n...

I'm in LOVE with Shoes

Image
I do!  I do love shoes! Don't get me wrong, I'm not the type of person who enjoys crazy styles and I'm usually very mainstream and ordinary and choose basics for my daily outfits and simple yet stylish dresses for going out in the evenings.  I love the idea of wearing for example a simple skinny grey dress and combine it with amazing red stilettos and red accessories or a simple white chiffon blouse with skinny jeans and a rocking pair of heels!  The pair of shoes I totally fell for at the Shoes Exhibit at Paradise center is the below one:  I'm so in love I can rock these with jeans or with a black dress - the red will be the accent in the outfit and will make this a garb to remember!  Anyway, I'm not such a fashionista, but I do like to dress up so I went to the shoes exhibit. There were many different pairs and honestly - I believe that some of them are only meant to be worn during fashion shows as I can't imagine putting on something as...
