BUS INFO: We were there from Friday till Sunday and bought a 3-day ticket to cover everything. It's much cheaper and gives extreme flexibility as it's difficult to park in the center - even if we managed to find free spots for the 3 cars, we would still need to pay a lot.

Paper ticket: paper BusPlus ticket is available only in the public transportation vehicles and can be purchased from the driver. The driver will issue a receipt that you should be kept until the end of the a ride.
1, 3 or 5-day ticketPassenger can also use a 1, 3 or 5-day ticket (24h, 72h, 120h) that is valid in the period of the daily traffic (from 4:00 until midnight). For example, during the period of 24 hours (e.g. from 10:00 until 10:00 the next day, expect the night traffic) public transportation can be used for an unlimited number of rides at a cost of 280 dinars. A 3-day ticket costs 720 dinars, while a 5-day ticket costs 1100 dinars. Passengers can use this option only when having paper non-personalized card.
Paper non-personalized ticket can be used only one. It is charged at newsstands and it is valid from the moment of purchase!
The expiration time of the daily ticket can be checked by simply putting the card close to the validator. The system will display information regarding the validity and the card credit.
