I had the great pleasure to attend Kamen Donev's performance called "Za Svatbite" (Weddings)! It was amazingly fun, fresh and full of national folklore. Had a great time during the national dances and songs which brought a unique feeling of tradition in one of the newest sports halls in Bulgaria.  He again proved to be a spectacular performer who can easily enchant the audience and create the opportunity for everyone to find something heart-melting! One of the best things about the unique experience - a couple from the audience was welcomed on stage!  The performance was split into different chapters and went on about how the weddings used to be arranged, how the couple would meet, how the families would negotiate the wedding and then the culmination was of course the wedding itself and all events that would happen around it. On the third day the weather was not suitable for a lazy beach day so we decided to see what's there to do in the resort. We opted for a mount Olympus visit and it was amazing! Very beautiful and even though it was rather chilly we still had great time! We got to the mountain with the cars and had a quick walk to the waterfall - it's small and noisy and quite fresh! We walked less than an hour and the path finished straight in it. At the beginning of the path there was a very nice guy selling magnets who was from Bulgaria and we chatted for a while - he was the one to tell us about the waterfall and was great with the instructions! On our second day in Litochoro we had great time by the pool!  It was amazing with nice weather and relatively cold pool water. It seems like the perfect time of the year to get tan as in the hot summer months - June, July and August it's too hot - it feels like the sun is burning a whole through my skin which is a very strange feeling!  We didn't have lunch as part of the package which was still alright as we still wanted to explore the place. Our hotel was not located in the resort center, we were very close to the beach and sea so if we wanted to go to the actual city we had to use the cars. We went there by car anyway so we didn't have any issues with this.  After dinner we decided to explore the resort and try the local restaurants even though we had dinner at the hotel. Quite frankly - it was not the best of the dinners. We do like food of great quality and one of us has a business dedicated to great sea food so we did want to see how the locals would do...

Love Summer15 ? How about a beach exploration journey? This summer I went to a couple of beaches including the Kallitheas beach in Greece! Amazing waters and there were so many people and still it was peaceful and relaxing: Many beach bars - in Greece it's easy to get a sunbed and an umbrella - you just order coffee and you're ready to go! People are very nice and of course very friendly when it comes to the tourists! if you can visit the beach - definitely do! There are suitable places to leave the car at so certainly there is no need to worry about it! And you can totally spend the whole day at the beach - you can order food, drinks, anything you may need and enjoy the amazing water! It's crystal clear and you can see small fishes enjoying life as it is! The weather during our stay was sunny and with very light wind which made it seem even hotter. Had a second day at the Wake Up beach. It is amazing and I couldn't stop myself from visiting it again. This time the water was not as clean as the previous day, however the place was still as wild and great!  As I have already tried the yoga, this time I decided that I can skip it and try something new instead. Krassen still had a group and everyone is always welcomed to join, it's a very open event, however I was  not in a workout mode.  Instead I wanted to take a walk on the cliffs and be able to enjoy the view from there! Looked amazing!  I also like to try something new and see a different view or the same from a different angle as this gives amazing opportunities. Taking a walk on the cliffs on the left, I followed a path between the trees and bushes and if you follow it to the end you will be able to enjoy the same view - there is a very small secluded area where the sea touches the shore and manages to transform the rocks into pebb...

Dreaming of the marvelous turquoise water of Zakynthos... Had great time there and it was extremely beautiful! The weather was relatively nice - it was not that hot, windy but very nice! In Greece it can be extremely sunny and it may become very uncomfortable - last month I felt as if the sun was burning holes through me! Yes, my skin is sensitive, but still- it was very hot!  I've heard that the best time for visiting Greece is September -still warm, but the prices are significantly lower compared to the summer months, the activities are still there and there are less tourists!  Simply marvelous!  A picture I love from a very nice secluded place with amazing waters! We didn't manage to see the best of the local beaches, which is a shame since the islands offer much better beaches, however we managed to find the below by accident! We were so lucky!

This summer I had an amazing short break in Litochoro so even though it's already been a couple of months I find it an experience worth sharing!  Day 1 We decide to have lunch in Thessaloniki. Turns out to be a huge mistake due to the awful traffic and huge lack of parking spots. After 12 km within the town looking for a free spot we finally manage to find a parking and leave the card there for "just" 4.50 euro. We go for a quick walk to find the perfect place for lunch. There is a great street along the seaside with cafes and restaurants on the right side and the beautiful sea on the left however everything there is waaay to expensive so we try to go back to the center and look for a place to eat which is far from the tourist area. Note: Thessaloniki is a big tourist city so finding such a spot can be a hard one. Rila is a Bulgarian mountain situated in southwestern Bulgaria and in this mountain range you can enjoy the highest peak on the Balkans- Musala (2.925). Rila is the sixth highest range in the world and the name is believed to be of a Thracian origin meaning a well-watered mountain. It's also famous for the 7 lakes of Rila each with a different shape and fascinating names.   I haven't been to the lakes so far but I would like to go. Yesterday I didn't manage to get that far but since it was an extremely hot day we decided to go to the mountain for some fresh and cold air. We arrived at Borovetz and went for the Yastrebets gondola lift which is for up to 6 people in it. No idea how exactly six people go in there during the winter with all the backpacks and equipment - guess it's very inly but during the summer it was very hot but still fun. The very best thing to do in Kassandra if looking for an active holiday would be to get on a cruise boat. It gives amazing opportunities like visiting a new beach, shopping in Neos Marmaras as well as a little bit more extreme sailing.  It starts at 9 o'clock but we left at 9:20- things happen, people are late.... We traveled to Toroni- they have a great beach there - small coast line but beautiful sand which looks and feels like wet sesame - amazing feeling!  Be careful- once you enter the sea you will have no more than 5-7 steps and then it gets really deep so if you're 1.60 m you really need to watch your step!  We were lucky to have a great weather- yes, it was windy and there were clouds however it didn't rain and even though the water was relatively cold  at the beginning once you get used to it it will be perfectly fine against the skin, especially if you manage to get some sun.
