Koukounaries beach Skiathos
A must-visit while in Skiathos! This is the most famous beach and on the island there are a number of signs showing the way, a lot more compared to the road to other beaches. Honestly - there is a reason for that! The first time I saw Skiathos, or even heard of it, was last year. I was on holiday at the Olympian Riviera and wanted to go in a boat trip. Of all trips, this was the most decent one. We went to Skiathos town and then to Koukounaries beach and it was love at first sight! This is why I was even considering going there this year! The beach is fantastic - it's exactly what I think about and what I imagine when dreaming of the perfect holiday. I love turquoise water, so clear that you can see your toes through it, combined with the perfect golden sand that looks like flour except that it's dreamy yellow!
