Wake Up! - Varvara Journey

Varvara is a great place very close to Lozenetz - small and with an amazing beach! It's not the typical Black Sea resort in Bulgaria as there are almost no hotels and it's a simple, plain village. Which makes it so adorable and desirable for the stay!
Looking for a relaxing break- perfect! Great accommodation in a small village where everyone is very nice and the local people don't have to only think about the tourists as this is not the typical tourist spot.

The beach is literally tiny and amazing. It's like a piece of paradise - with amazing beach bar and a free zone. At the beach bar territory guests are not allowed to use their personal umbrellas, food and beverages however they actually do from time to time which is still okay. Yet, the bar offers everything one needs- alcoholic and soft drinks, salads, BBQ, fruits and the people who work there are so nice!
A huge plus - wondering how to start the day in an energetic and positive way? Go for the morning yoga with Krassen who's been into this for 5 years now and is great! He can explain perfectly well what needs to be done and how to do it - very nice and light, easy morning exercises! There will be no pressure and in case you're doing something wrong he will join you and explain what's wrong by directing the body and showing you can actually do it correctly.

After that the perfect thing to do is head straight to the bar and start the day with a cold Menta with Sprite with ice cubes and lemon. Also try the melon - they have of the best one and it is great and tasty!

What I had for lunch - fresh bruschetta with tomatoes and mozzarella. The bread had soaked the tomato juice and it was perfectly melting in my mouth! What they looked like:



After a couple of beverages and at least an hour after lunch you can enjoy the warm Black Sea water, it is simply amazing!
Got even better news - you can enjoy all this at a much better price compared to the Oasis beach. The umbrella with a small table, small bed, a chair and 2 barbarons is 10 leva. For 30 leva they offer a double bed and a tent, looks great but couldn't try it.

So if looking for a small secluded beach, almost perfectly wild, this is the best spot!

If you are planning a trip to Skiathos, you have most probably heard about Lalaria beach. This amazing "must-see" destination which is hard to reach but worth it. Issos Beach, Corfu

This is one of the southern beaches of the island and was great!  If you love beach bars, this may not be your place - the bars there are not like the ones at other beaches, but the beach itself is very nice!  Fine golden sand, crystal-clear water... Exactly what I wanted - line which I used almost every day looking at my feet through the magical small waves we had.  At the place where we chose to sit, there was a small bar from which we could get drinks and food - salads, sandwiches, Aperol.... And it was nice since there was light music. The toilette was close too - just up the hill. With the locker from the outer side... :D In general, I would recommend the south beaches - no stones, the water is exactly as one would expect from a Greek island.... There are umbrellas and sunbeds - the cost for 2 beds and the umbrella is 7 euro, which I find reasonable. There is free zone too. Wake Up! - Varvara Day 2

Had a second day at the Wake Up beach. It is amazing and I couldn't stop myself from visiting it again. This time the water was not as clean as the previous day, however the place was still as wild and great!  As I have already tried the yoga, this time I decided that I can skip it and try something new instead. Krassen still had a group and everyone is always welcomed to join, it's a very open event, however I was  not in a workout mode.  Instead I wanted to take a walk on the cliffs and be able to enjoy the view from there! Looked amazing!  I also like to try something new and see a different view or the same from a different angle as this gives amazing opportunities. Taking a walk on the cliffs on the left, I followed a path between the trees and bushes and if you follow it to the end you will be able to enjoy the same view - there is a very small secluded area where the sea touches the shore and manages to transform the rocks into pebble beach.
