Why I started this

I sometimes wonder what I actually want to do in life. When I conduct an interview, I sometime even ask the applicants the following one - If money didn't exist, what would you like to do till the end of your life?

And honestly, if I myself get this question, I would feel totally trapped - it would mean to look deep into my own soul and personality, back at where I come from and the things I've done so far and make a decision and I can't do this in seconds. So I know many other people don't know how to answer this honestly either.

Thinking about it I assume it would be great to go to work with a smile and do the thing which makes me happy the most. However what is it? Is it travelling the world? Or shooting pictures? Or trying different cuisine? Meeting new people? Exploring adventures and discovering new opportunities? YES to ALL!

So this leads me to think about my blog - something I started some time ago. Something for which I had this nice but also giant idea - that I will go places and then share my personal views and what i enjoyed there, what I didn't enjoy, what are my own recommendations for things to do and places to eat or what to see.

And truth is - it's not going very well. I do post on Instagram from time to time, but I rarely find the actual time needed to put down my feelings and emotions and share the experience from a trip.

So for the new year I would challenge myself to do more of this and share more and often. After every trip I'll try - at least a short review of the best and worst from it.

So that I can do what I wanted to do in the first place - share my perspective from the random traveler point of view, so that it can help other travelers find the best experience for themselves. We only have limited time so can't waste it doing everything possible, let's at least do the things which can bring us a "star" experience.

xoxo,
Elle
