Bellagio Hotel, Fourka - relaxing gardens and pool

In Fourka I booked the Bellagio hotel for a 7 night All Inclusive holiday. Looked like the best option cost-wise and the location still looked very nice - close to the beach, with own pool and on AI. Besides, before booking anything I always check the reviews from customers who have already been there just to make sure what I'm looking at.

We found it easily and parked at the hotel's own parking - it was free of charge and there was enough space for the guest cars. It's located right behind the rooms, in the forest.

We had 3 meals each day - breakfast, lunch and dinner including the drinks at all times - in the restaurant and from the bar. Surprisingly there wasn't a huge variety of alcoholic drinks - I expected ouzo and other typical Greek delights however there were none. We had choice between beer and wine, which was fine with me however we expected more considering it was All Inclusive and not Full Board Plus.

Food - it was nice, they tried to prepare something new each day however we didn't had large choice. There was rice and pasta at almost every meal but it was eatable. They also tried with fish and chicken, but rarely. My brother eats mainly chicken and rice and he was not perfectly happy with the selection but the truth is that at every meal there was more than one thing we could eat. I'm very anxious when it comes to food and there are many meals I don't find delicious and I don't eat and still - I always managed to eat a lot!
I tried the wine and it was fine - my expectations were not high as usually on AI the drinks are not premium but I was happy with what we had.

We didn't have any fruits during the breakfast, only at lunch and dinner time which I find strange, however at least there was a variety and plenty of them. The breakfast was absolutely the same every day however the options we had at each breakfast were enough if one wants to make slight changes. One day we had yogurt, one day bread with butter and jam, on the next we ate eggs and meat. It was nice and delicious and honestly - the breakfast was the best compared to the other meals.

Pool area - perfect! Once you leave the hotel room you go through the garden and in less than a minute you're at the restaurant. Don't enter it, keep going and you're finally at the pool area. It's perfectly build as from the restaurant terrace guests have amazing view to the pool - yes, it's not the bestest as after the pool there are houses and a road instead of the sea but it's still nice especially considering the magnificent flowers which make it even more colorful. The pool bar is simple but has everything included in the AI option and you can have as much as you would like - naturally.

Rooms - had rooms on the ground floor which is not perfect as the terrace is literally on the ground and anyone can enjoy their time on yours however no one would. I didn't prefer ground floor rooms but the ones on the upper floors were already booked by the time we arrived (naturally - they were at an extra charge). The rooms are not big and typically for the Greek style - there is one glass door leading to the terrace and there are no other windows due to which the rooms are quite dark. We had a fridge, huge bed which was very nice, wardrobe with place only for the hangers (strange if you ask me) and a TV which we didn't really use.

At the back side of the hotel there is a small path to the parking. The doors to the rooms are also located there.
We had Wi-Fi at the room very often - I believe it also depends on the number of guests connected. It's however perfect at the reception

Which leads me to the reception and staff - very nice people. We didn't get to see when they were cleaning the rooms for the whole 7 days and yet they were cleaned - this is exactly how I like it to be. What impressed me was that they had walkie-talkies and had perfect communication between them. Very well-organized!
The girls at the reception used to switch their shifts. The one who greeted us initially when we arrived had a relevantly suitable level of English and explained everything very clear however the other one was not so good. I'm not sure whether she couldn't express her thoughts precisely or she had difficulties trying to understand what we wanted however I got on better with the other girl. All of them wee very nice though.
The reception works at any time so if you need additional blanket during the night there is nothing to worry about.

Beach - within a 5 - 10 minute walk. It's very close. However once you enter the neighborhood take the first bigger street right - it leads to a different area of the same beach - one where there are almost no huge stones and it's quite wild. If you're looking to truly relax this is your place. If you prefer a beach bar - don't go right, just follow the main path and you will see it.

We were lucky to have great weather most of the time and honestly - even though this was not the 5-star luxury everyone dreams of, I would go back there again! At the end of our stay, when we were checking out, the girl at the reception even handed as a small gift. I was so excited that I could barely wait to get to the car before opening it. It was a bottle of white wine which I drank with pleasure but the most touching about it all was the gesture - it was so nice and warm that they thought about it!
