I'm in LOVE with Shoes
I do!
I do love shoes! Don't get me wrong, I'm not the type of person who enjoys crazy styles and I'm usually very mainstream and ordinary and choose basics for my daily outfits and simple yet stylish dresses for going out in the evenings.
I love the idea of wearing for example a simple skinny grey dress and combine it with amazing red stilettos and red accessories or a simple white chiffon blouse with skinny jeans and a rocking pair of heels!
The pair of shoes I totally fell for at the Shoes Exhibit at Paradise center is the below one:
I'm so in love |
I can rock these with jeans or with a black dress - the red will be the accent in the outfit and will make this a garb to remember!
Anyway, I'm not such a fashionista, but I do like to dress up so I went to the shoes exhibit. There were many different pairs and honestly - I believe that some of them are only meant to be worn during fashion shows as I can't imagine putting on something as off-beat as them for a regular day of mine and quite frankly - I can't remember a day which was so crazy and different that I could wear a pair of those. As an example I can think of the Vivienne Westwood Melissa shoes with angel wings. Yes, they're definitely different and I can only admire the amazing thought of the designer - shoes don't just bring positive emotions for the eyes, but also for the soul and when there are such pairs they are an imagination driver!
Me personally, I would much rather go for the Louboutin's. I see them as classical model with style and they are really suitable for every day of a girl's life - beautiful pairs with red sole which seals in the mind of the person looking at it and then you can't think of anything else but wearing one of those. I love the nude heels as they are perfect for everyday - so classy that they match pretty much everything and at the same time can be combined with the perfect night gown so that the owner can become the queen of the night. And feel like one as well.
During the exhibit saw those as well:
Another personal favorite |
How can you not wear them every day? If I had a pair of those I believe I would be sleeping with them - so beautiful and even by looking at them I already feel better, let alone wearing them. Classical black which goes well with everything but looks comfortable at the same time. I know that Louboutin doesn't believe in the comfort of the shoes and says that high heels are pleasure with pain. I can't agree more as they're amazingly delightful and make you both want to never take them off and not ever wear them again at the same time.
I saw interesting pieces by Jimmy Choo and Manolo Blahnik but the one that really got to me was Louboutin. I love the idea I see behind the shoes and the fact that designers realize truths which may not be right but we believe in - that shoes HAVE to be BEAUTIFUL and fit perfectly well and I would rather wear ones that make me feel like a queen even if my feet are then in pain than very comfortable pairs in which I don't have this royal and magnificent feeling. It's so controversial....
How can someone not love shoes?
